Is Feminism Really for the Black Woman?
So this topic just keeps appearing in front of me. As a pro black woman most people think that it isn't appropriate for me to be a feminist also. This pisses me the fuk off because if I can remember correctly black women have been at the bottom of the totem pole for a long time as far back as slavery so why wouldn't a black woman be a feminist or a woman that is pro black. Since slavery a black woman has had to fight her way to being respected as a woman and just as a human being. Black woman were raped by white and black men. Not to mention when women were allowed to enter the work force black women were doing the same jobs as white women but getting paid less and black women have been receiving a negative back lash about their sexuality and reproductive choices for years. Black women continue to receive disrespect from white society and her black counter parts on a daily basis publicly, without shame, so why is it inappropriate for me to be pro black and a feminist? Imma need you people who think this to get your lifeeee! I do realize that the original feminist movement was not the black woman's movement but perhaps that has been a part of the problem all along. People need to realize being a feminist is not about hating men or saying that the woman race is better than the male but about having equality and control over your choices and your life!#Blackfeminist#PissedtheFukOff
Why the hell can't I afford this ish
I know theirs somebody out here who can relate to working a job where you can't afford ish in there even with a discount. This pisses me the fuk off. I feel it is a travesty to have to work somewhere and they don't even pay you enough to be able to afford their product and then have the nerve to wonder why people be stealing they ish. By all means this is not an excuse for stealing, but its very tempting to be surrounded by things you want and know you can't afford them and then you have an arse for a boss that reminds you everyday how you don't want to be at the dam job and expects you to break your back for the pennies they are paying you. What made me really think about this is I was in the airport and wanted something to eat and the only place to grab something quick was this burger joint, but the prices were ridiculous.I mean ten dollars for a burger pleaseee get your life! So I asked the person waiting on me did they eat the food and they told me no because they couldn't afford a ten dollar burger and they felt the price was ridiculous. No matter where ever people work they should be able to afford the product they are servicing to others whether its food, clothing, shoes, or anything else. Again this all has to do with the cost of living though. Ish is just priced too high and is mainly based on people making a profit and not what people can actually afford. I know as a provider people want to make money off their products and they should but when will people just stop being plain old greedy. It really bothers me to know people have to scrape together funds to afford ish at the store they work at. # PissedtheFukOff

WTF Zimmerman Verdict Not Guilty
My heart is so heavy for Trayvons family and every other black male like Trayvon Martin.#pissedthefukoff extremely I am with the U.S justice systems. This clearly should have been an open and shut case and the verdict should have been definitely guilty. Zimmerman clearly had no reason to fear Trayvon and he clearly could have chosen a better resolution than killing a young boy walking home from the store. The worst part of this scenario is there was only one persons story to go off of. Obviously Zimmerman wanted it that way or else he would have not killed an unarmed adolescent. This case just proves no matter how much people want to believe black people are in a good place because we have a black president that this is not the reality. Also besides the issue of race here there is also the issue of class. Trayvons family could not afford better representation than the appointed prosecutors. Clearly the prosecutors did not do their best given the circumstances. Times like this makes me ask where the fuk are our black leaders. Where the hell are the Johnny Cochran s of our time , where are the Martin Kings and where the hell is Jesse Jackson's arse. He should have made his presence felt at the trial even if they had to stand outside the court house. I just felt it was more that could have been being done during this trial. People especially should have protested the jury six women and only 2 of color gtfoh if that was not a recipe for this mess then I don't know what to say. I am also very disappointed at Obama telling people to respect the verdict Mr if I had a son he would look like Trayvon#pissedthefukoff When will people start stepping up and being the change and stop fearing losing status or being disliked by the public. I must say though I am proud of all the people stepping up and protesting this verdict. Truth is if we stand together we can make a difference and can't be ignored. Makes me think of my favorite seen from Soul Food. One of the Sunday dinners where Big Mama said hold your hand out and look at your fingers separate they don't do much but if you ball them up together they make a fist that can strike a mighty blow and we as black people need to be that fist#justiceforTrayvon#nojusticenopeace#pissedthefukoff

Somebody Should Have Checked her A** a Long Time Ago
Okay so I have been so busy with school and life and all I hadn't had a chance to address Paula Deen's situation, but now is the time. SO after reading all the news feeds and articles about Paula Deen and her racist comments and actions the biggest thing that pisses me the fuk off is why didn't somebody check her a** a long time ago when she first said the ish. This is a prime example of how the media controls when we are upset and what we are upset about. This issue should have been addressed publicly when it first happened, but there was no light shed on it. Now all of sudden because the network she worked for is not renewing her contract due to " racist incidents" everyone wants to be enraged. I am willing to bet there is more to this story than the media is letting us in on as far as why they are not renewing her contract. If the Food Network was so intolerant of racist remarks and actions why wasn't she let go from her contract when it happened. So I am not going to give The Food Network a pat on the back or hero cape for their late actions. I am also pissed the fuk off with Al Sharptons comments saying "why hold her accountable for something she said 20yrs ago and she made a mistake", especially when he is advocating to banish the N word. Every body is only giving this lady a pass because she cooked some good food what does this say about Black America. I feel that if we want to be treated fully equal we can not give out passes to certain people of certain status when they are making racist statements and having racist actions. We have to be non tolerant because Paula Deen is not really suffering from anything, she has made her money and has lived her life and has not really been held accountable for her actions. This also exemplifies how people do what you allow them to do, the fact that she had a black assistant who didn't mind her actions and didn't check her on them says allot. I don't believe Paula Deen made a mistake because she had more than one slip. It's like I always say ignorance breeds ignorance and if her family were southern slave owners and thought that way then they raised a child that became a woman that thinks that same way and people have been letting her pass with this behavior so why would she change.#PissedtheFukOff
