Minumum Wage is Going UP

So the Senate just passed Senate bill 1565 on Wednesday, which would raise the minimum wage to $10.00 an hour. So we are suppose to be happy about this right?! In a sense I am but I already make $10.00 an hour and I still can't afford ish. So I don't see minimum wage as the key issue when it comes to affordable living or living comfortable. My opinion is that the cost of living is the real problem and it pisses me the fuk off that people don't realize this or either they do and just don't care. So even though I'm glad there is going to be a minimum wage hike, I can't help but feel doomed because there is also going to be a cost of living hike two years later. This system is a never ending cycle to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. Pricing of necessary items should be based on how much people make and that's after taxes;because we all know that even though on paper you will be making $10.00 an hour, you will really be bringing home $9.50 an hour. Companies constantly charge us consumers quadruple the price it takes them to make a product and be able to reap benefits. I'm pissed the fuk off people keep getting over on me and I work hard to pay someone for something I need that only cost them $1.50 to make. Another issue also is that pay is never equal to labor. I watch people bust there buts everyday and make nothing and then I see people who don't do anything complicated at all and make double what these people make. How is that fair and I realize that mind labor is worth more than physical labor in this world but then education is high as hell making it nearly impossible for people to groom and use those skills. We as people need to push for better options for us as consumers. The cost of living needs to be equal to the minimum wage, meaning I can afford to buy everything I need, and it is of quality, I shouldn't have to buy non quality ish because I can't afford quality. The government has to get their ish together.#pissedthefukoff
