What the Hell happened to it?! I know I am a feminist and I fight for equality of women but that doesn't mean that I don't want to be shown any chivalry. For goodness sakes I don't hate men, I just want to be able to have the same pay if I'm doing the same job and have control over my body as they do.Back to the subject though. So I was chillin with my friend and we were looking to chill with some dudes. You know a kick back session or whatever you may call it. So I call this guy and asked if him and one of his friends wanted to hang with me and my friend. He was at work and said he would hit me when he got off and I said OK. So about two hours later he text me and asked me what I was on. I told him I was on my way home. He replied I WAS TRYING TO SEE IF Y'ALL WANTED TO MATCH A BOTTLE(LIQUOR). When I saw this text all I could do was laugh but I was pissed the fuk off that he had the audacity to ask me that. When did guys start asking you to match the bottle?!#Getyourlifepleassssse! So I replied and told him that gentlemen don't ask ladies to match the bottle and that we were not his guys. He told me he knew plenty of females that had no problem with it and this pissed me the fuk off far more. This is the problem right here. I'm sorry ladies but that is not wassup. You should never feel okay with matching the bottle with dudes that want to be involved with you romantically. It's nice that you can afford your own and can do for yourself and you should be able to but a true gent knows you can but doesn't want you to because he is willing and can and this goes for more than just that bottle of liquor. Back to convo though after I told him I was a lady and demanded to be treated like one he told me that this was not the 70's and I needed to get my head out my ass and I was living in a fairy world. He was being a total douche bag. So I told him that it doesn't have to be the 70's for me to be treated like a lady and that I see he has a problem with the way I carry myself so goodbye. Is this really how guys think when you demand respect but when you don't then your a hoe, easy, slut, and don't have any respect for yourself. WTF I'm so over it! If you can't show me some chivalry then I don't want to be bothered with you. I'm not going to allow you to treat me any lessor than I would treat myself. If I would buy a whole bottle for myself you should do the same. I know some of you may be reading this and saying it's just a bottle of liquor, this is a small thing. See that's where it starts, when you give people an inch most of the time they take a mile; and people will only treat you the way you allow them to.
